9/3/10 | Pakistan Floods Disaster and Relief Management

Pakistan has witnessed the worst ever floods in its history with over a fifth of the country submerged, crops and livestock destroyed and 20 million people displaced internally.

It has been estimated that some 3.5 million children are at  risk of contracting life-threatening diseases and/or infections including Cholera, diarrhea, malaria and gastroenteritis.
