The Peace Action Network is offering a series of global conference calls, which combine top resources addressing critical issues with the opportunity for members and spouses to connect and better pursue their making a difference passions.
In the first part of the call Jeremy Ben-Ami, Executive Director of J Street – which defines itself as the political home for pro-Israel, pro-peace Americans, discussed the status of current negotiations and the possibilities for peace using the two state solution.
The second half of the call provided an opportunity for members, spouses and partners to share information, ideas and inspiration with other PAN members about initiatives they are working on. Members had an opportunity to brainstorm, ask for advice, promote projects and find others to support initiatives. There were updates about various PAN activities, including upcoming member-owned experiences to Iran and North Korea.
A more connected, engaged group of members, spouses and partners furthers the ethos of YPO-WPO – “better leaders through education and idea exchange” – and allows all of us to be more effective in our endeavors. Please listen now for this archive GCC and join the Peace Action Network.

Jeremy Ben-Ami is the Executive Director of J Street, and former Deputy Policy Advisor to President Bill Clinton. Jeremy has worked with Jewish peace groups, including the Center for Middle East Peace and the Geneva Initiative-North America. Jeremy’s connection to Israel goes back to his great-grandparents, 133 years ago, who were one of the founding families of Tel Aviv. He graduated from Princeton University and received a law degree from New York University.
